London Dock – Emery Wharf Location

Emery Wharf is just moments from Tower Bridge, the historic Tower of London, St Katharine Docks Marina, the City and Canary Wharf.

Discover London Dock

To discover London is to discover there’s a sense of place to every neighbourhood – connected but distinct. London Dock builds on the unique character and identity of Wapping, a quiet village in the centre of the capital.

Accessible, connected spaces are framed by architecture that is both strikingly contemporary and reassuringly familiar, recalling the wharf buildings and warehouses that once housed the exotic and unusual from around the world.

Water is once again one of its defining features – from the spectacular water features in Gauging Square to the promenades and water gardens waiting to be explored.

Pennington Street Warehouse

The village centre and commercial heart of London Dock brought to life with an eclectic mix of shops, bars and restaurants.

Trading Words

Commissioned by St George and designed by artist Gordon Young, Trading Words is a unique walking art installation.

Inspired by the exotic cargoes that once made Wapping famous – from diamonds to bear’s grease - it leads the visitor through London Dock, linking its past and present.

A New Side To Wapping

Ships once docked here with holds filled with goods to delight and amaze. Wapping was a cornucopia of wonders. No less wonderful today, Wapping is home to the authentic and original.

London Dock draws on that dynamism with independent shops and inviting eateries that reflect Wapping’s character and neighbourhood spirit. This is Wapping’s new side, a blend of the traditional and contemporary selected from the best, to satisfy the most lively appetite.

Explore its streets and squares. From river walks to shopping among the yachts of St Katharine Docks; artisan coffees to historic inns; simple homecooked food to sophisticated dining.

To know Wapping is to love it.

St Katharine Docks is central London’s only marina, a truly unique offering set beside iconic London landmarks with exceptional retail and warehouse style office space.

The truly authentic is more than simply style. It’s in the experience. Wafer-thin, bottled or served up hot, it’s the taste of how things should be done.

Step From The Village Into The City

London Dock is only minutes from Tower Bridge, a landmark that tells you you’re in one of the greatest cities in the world. With the best shopping, dining, culture and entertainment, London is also a global business centre.

A cultural hub, take in world-class performances at The Bridge Theatre, the South Bank, or visit the world’s oldest surviving grand music hall, Wilton’s.
